The scars.
In life, we often face a tricky balance of forgetting and forgiving, especially when we've been hurt by others. It's like having a hidden scar that can suddenly flare up with even the smallest trigger. I think this feeling is something we all understand deep down, as we carry both visible and hidden scars that shape who we are.
We all bear scars, some deeply ingrained in our hearts, while others are more surface-level but still painful. These wounds, though we may not talk about them openly, remind us of the battles we've faced and the pain we've endured. Yet, in our quest to move forward, we often cover these wounds with a mask of strength, hoping they'll heal on their own.
Unfortunately, in today's world, the cycle of hurt and healing can feel never-ending. The temporary fixes we apply to our wounds often get replaced with each new injury, until we become numb to the pain, overwhelmed by the constant barrage of hurts. This is something I've experienced firsthand as I've struggled to overcome past traumas and betrayals.
But even in our darkest moments, there's always a glimmer of hope, a determination to keep pushing forward. Despite the weight of our scars, we find the strength to rise again, knowing that they don't define us but instead shape us into who we're meant to be.
For me, this journey isn't just about personal triumph; it's about standing up for others who have been silenced by their pain. As I work towards my goals, I understand the power I have to make a difference in the lives of others. True success, I believe, comes from lifting others up along the way.
